Eibsee Alm in Grainau

Perfect lunch at the Eibsee a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the lake. Large portions, very tasty food and fair prices. In addition, a great mountain view and an absolute alpine feeling. We would not have expected at this tourist hotspot where there are not many alternatives! Highly Recommended!

The restaurant is currently closed, but it is well looked after, so that you can find a quiet space on the wall and take a break and eat your own tea and bread. Nice view of the Zugspitze.

Very rustic mountain inn, previously with a ski lift in front of it, unfortunately no longer possible. Gives coffee and cake. Very good lunch menu. Note opening times

Loved this place. In a beautiful nature, with a nice view and nice playground for the little children. Super friendly staff and delicious meal. If you are traveling with the children you will really not regret to go there up:))

Simply recommend. We ate here today. Had to wait for a seat but that was ok. The food was top notch. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely eat here again. For kids outside there is also a nice playground if the weather permits. Please keep it up :)

Incredibly good Kaiserschmarren! Service (especially by the "usher") sometimes a bit rough, but that may have been due to the large number of people.

Despite the tables being occupied, we got a table after a short wait (4 groups in front of us about 10 minutes) and can order food. Dishes leave the kitchen every minute. We had Kaiserschmarren and were super happy with the quality! Great restaurant that clearly has the kitchen under control!

Sure the view is beautiful, that doesn't mean the kitchen has to be good. Our expectations were far exceeded. A very personable, funny waiter who was also very nice to our Paula (3 years) welcomed us. We ordered the salad with turkey and a tarte flambée. Both were very tasty and well prepared. An absolute recommendation from us. PS: But when there is a lot going on, it can of course be that the atmosphere is tense and the enjoyment cannot be lived out properly.

Very nice service, very funny. Food and drinks were delicious. The view was of course also great and it was interesting to see how the cable car drove. The offer was sufficient. From typical Bavarian dishes, such as white sausage and sausage salad, to the burger, everything was there.

In this case it is NOT a tourist trap, the location has an astonishing view of the Zugspitze, delicious Flammkuchen and Gernknödel and very good service

Service and staff is not friendly at all. The worst attitude that I have seen in Bayern. However I should admit that they have delicious burger.

roast pork with dark beer sauce is good taste for us; cheese cake is also a good choice for dessert. If you want to have lunch or afternoon tea, it could be a choice than lake ones.

The plan was the Zugspitse at a height of 3000 meters, € 58 pp But the weather was clear and you should then. So a walk around the lake 7 km. Surprisingly beautiful walk. And a good alternative.

Decent food, GREAT service - our waiter went out of his way to make sure our kids were happy and taken care of. Beautiful views of Zugspitze and Lake Eibsee, good beer and wine, and a playground for the kids. I'd definitely go here again.

We tried sausage, chicken stew, pork roast and cheese cake. All of them were very delicious, i strongly recommend eating here. They also have a fireplace which creates a cozy atmosphere
